REV is thrilled to offer this 1998 TVR Chimaera 500, on consignment my it's owner of several years. It is finished in Silver Metallic, over Coral Red interior. This TVR was imported from England, and is currently registered, tagged, and insured in North Carolina with it's original VIN number. It has just under 40,000 original miles, and is in wonderful condition. Of the 6,000 Chimaera's built over the course of 12 years of production, only 600 left the factory as '500' V8 models. The 500 was equipped with a 5.0 Rover V8 making 340 horsepower, and 320 lb ft of torque, and capable of a 0-60 time of just 4.1 seconds! This was astonishingly fast for the 90's. This example is mostly stock. It has a Alpine single DIN head unit, with Pioneer speakers. It has the 7-spoke Griffith wheels, and the full leather interior.
