Description

This 1980 Volvo 245 GL Wagon comes to us on consignment by it's local owner of several years. This is a rare Diesel spec, with the Volkswagen-engineered D24 2.4L I6 diesel engine, and 3 speed automatic transmission. The car is finished in Green single stage paint, over tan Volvo-Tex leatherette interior. The car is in exceptionally good shape thanks to the fact that it only has 48,000 documented miles. It remained with it's original owner until 2016. It comes with a slew of maintenance records from over the years, and four brand new tires. It runs and drives well, and has no rust issues. These diesel-powered 245 wagons are incredibly hard to find, as not many were sold when new compared to it's gasoline-powered counterpart. This is a must have for any Volvo collector, or diesel enthusiast!
